The VIP-T module, Video Image Processor, combines

• traffic monitoring,
• automatic incident detection,
• traffic data collection

for a variety of applications (tunnels, highways, bridges,...) on fixed and PTZ cameras. 

This VIP technology provides real-time data and image information for optimal traffic control and fast, accurate incident detection.

Fast TI DSP processors allow different algorithms (tracking, motion detection, adaptive shadow suppression, etc.) to run simultaneously on one single VIP-T board. This ensures high reliability and a low false alarm rate of the video detection system.

ON BOARD MPEG4 COMPRESSION

VIP-T uses MPEG4 image compression as a standard to offer full frame rate streaming video. This makes VIP-T stand out as a perfect tool for incident analysis.

UNIQUE IP ADDRESS

Each VIP-T has its own unique IP-address. This allows the user to set-up a transparent network and improves accessibility for all users. Password protection is foreseen to secure the system.

REMOTE "PLUG & PLAY"

Simply by executing a "Plug & Play", traffic managers instantly and automatically get an overview of the complete installation.  Via user-friendly Traficon management software (e.g. T-Port), the user is able to remotely execute a complete set-up, modify detection zones and check the results on screen.

SEAMLESS INTEGRATION

The open and modular architecture of the VIP system allows seamless integration via a straightforward TCP/IP protocol into other new or existing traffic management systems.
