Traficon is chosen as preferred partner for installing a high-performance Automatic Incident Detection (AID) system inside the world’s deepest immersed roadway tunnel. This tunnel is part of a South Korean world class project providing an 8.2km highway link between the southern city of Busan and the island of Geoje. The Busan-Geoje fixed link is expected to open late December 2010.

One of the largest infrastructure projects ever to be undertaken in Queensland (Australia) - The Clem Jones (Clem7) Tunnel - is now open to traffic marking a historic day for Brisbane. It links five existing major motorways and arterial roads on the north and south sides of the Brisbane River and is designed to alleviate traffic congestion in this rapidly growing city. A total of 224 intelligent cameras monitor the 6.8km tunnel, pinpointing potential hazards before they occur. Brisbane motorists can now enjoy faster, safer and more reliable travel!
