21/09/01 - Automatic Queue & Incident Detection on the Ring Roads of Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium

On the ring road around Antwerpen, cameras will be installed to notify the Flemish traffic centre in Antwerpen immediately of queues, accidents and other incidents. From this centre, all drivers on the ring road and its feeder roads can be warned rapidly using VMS (Variable Message Signs) panels.
